This privacy policy explains how Sahiyar ("we", "us", "our") handles information in the mobile applications we publish on Google Play and the Apple App Store (each, the "App" or the "Service").
By downloading or using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
Some Apps ask you to create an account or submit details in order to work — for example a name, email address or profile photo. You choose whether to provide this. Where an App does not require an account, we do not ask you for personal details at all.
Information collected automatically
When you use the App, certain technical information is collected automatically by the App and by the third-party tools listed in section 5:
- Device model, operating system and version, and device language
- App version, settings and configuration
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (country or region level)
- Advertising identifier, where advertising is shown
- Crash reports, diagnostics and usage statistics such as screens opened and features used
This information is used in aggregate to keep the App working and to improve it. It is not used to identify you personally.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate and maintain the App and its features
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs and improve performance and stability
- To understand which features are used, so we can improve them
- To display advertising, where the App is ad-supported
- To respond to your support requests
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
3. Log data
Whenever the App encounters an error, log data is collected through third-party products. This may include your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the App at the time, the time and date of your use, and other statistics. This helps us identify and fix the problem.
4. Device permissions
The App may request permissions such as camera, photo library, storage, notifications or location. Each permission is requested only when a feature needs it, and the App explains why at the moment it asks. You can refuse a permission or withdraw it later in your device settings — the related feature will stop working, but the rest of the App will continue to function.
5. Third-party services
The App may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle that data:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Apple App Store services
Note: keep this list accurate for the App you are publishing. Remove any SDK the App does not actually include, and add any others it does — Google Play compares this policy against your Data safety form, and a mismatch can hold up a review.
6. Cookies
The App does not use cookies directly. However, third-party code and advertising libraries inside the App may use cookies or similar identifiers to collect information and improve their services. You can refuse these through your device settings, though some parts of the App may then not work correctly.
7. Sharing of information
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers — third-party companies that perform tasks on our behalf (analytics, crash reporting, hosting, advertising). They may access your information only to perform those tasks and are obliged not to use it for anything else.
- Legal reasons — where required by law, regulation, legal process or an enforceable governmental request.
- Business transfer — if our business is merged or acquired, information may transfer as part of that transaction; this policy continues to apply.
8. Data retention and deletion
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Aggregated and anonymised statistics may be kept indefinitely, as they no longer identify you.
You may ask us to delete your account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Email sahiya231@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, stating the name of the App. We will action the request within 30 days and confirm by email. Uninstalling the App alone does not delete data already stored on our servers.
9. Security
We value your trust in providing us your information and use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from them. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we delete it from our servers immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, request its deletion, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent you previously gave. To exercise any of these rights, write to sahiya231@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
You can also opt out of personalised advertising in your device settings — Settings → Google → Ads on Android, or Settings → Privacy → Tracking on iOS.
12. Links to other sites
The App may contain links to other sites. If you click a third-party link you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us, so we strongly advise you to review their privacy policies. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.
13. Governing law
This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it. Any dispute shall first be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with proceedings conducted in English.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page, and the "last updated" date above will change. You are advised to review this page periodically. Changes are effective as soon as they are posted.
